Outside Sales Representative
Primarily responsible for targeting potential new accounts, cultivating a professional relationship, obtaining jobs for the purpose of providing quotations, present estimates, finalize the engagement and monitor the progress of the production run to ensure that the customer expectations and delivery dates are achieved.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Continuously research and prospect for new potential customer opportunities utilizing a variety of prospecting methods
Represent our company to our customers and potential customers
Utilize social media concepts such as: Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and other online avenues
Upon developing interest by the prospect, obtain paper box concept, sample of product and meet with Structural Design Department to obtain a minimum of 2 sample concepts for presentation
Work together with the prospect to identify sample application for Test, Fit and Form functionality
Develop accurate quotation request packages for the Estimating Department
Prepare Estimate as required
Review quotation packages with the President as required
Keep the President informed on a weekly basis of sales activity including prospects and existing customer order progress, as well as any areas requiring support
Document customer appointments on the sales call sheet and provide to the President
Facilitate the credit application process and obtain deposit
Together with the CSR team ensure order is processed internally
Keep a constant dialog between yourself and the Sales Team as well as the Scheduler and other Internal Team Members to monitor the progress of new jobs from customers
Be available for new job meeting and first time production runs
Provide support and work towards resolution on any quality or customer concerns as identified
Receive invoice from internal CSR and provide to customer
Follow up with customer to ensure satisfaction
Interact with Marketing as required to ensure prospecting is not conflicting with other Sales Representatives
Food Safety
Adopt and display a positive approach in Food Safety issues
Foster our company’s commitment to a high level of Food Safety, as it pertains to our products
Understand Food Safety requirements, policies and procedures as per relevant training, which help to ensure the consistency and safety of products
Support and develop company’s culture of Continuous Improvement in Food Safety, supported by open communication at and between all levels of company
