Student Focus: Rachel Cheung

2023-02-17/in News, Students/by Editor

Hi, nice to meeting you all. My name is Rachel Cheung, studying Graphic
Communications Technology Management at BCIT. This is my first year in the program and am so excited to combine my knowledge and passion to shine a light on the print industry.

Graphic design and the packaging sector within the print industry have always been one of the most fascinating aspirations for me. With previous work experiences in different aspects of graphic design like website development, social media marketing content creating, and some freelance work, practical knowledge within the years in this program will allow me to take a step further. With academic background as a marketer, I am eager to start small from contributing to making a difference to the packaging industry with limitless potential.

I would like to take this opportunity to show my gratitude towards the generous support from all donors to Canadian Print Scholarships. Your ongoing support truly means my motivation, and really could not do it without you. I am looking forward to excel my proficiency within the industry.

Rachel Cheung, British Columbia Institute of Technology, Class of 2024
